Promotion Move

San Antonio, Texas is one of my favorite cities in the country. So when my company offered me an incredible promotion and opportunity to move there, I jumped at it. I had visited San Antonio several times prior to going to work for my company. My position as national sales manager for the company took me to the city often and, because I was there a lot, I met new friends and began to know my way around this beautiful, historical city. So, when I accepted the new position, I already knew where I wanted to look for a home. I made phone calls to Satellite TV San Antonio, and the power company before I left Atlanta. By the time I arrived to begin settling in, all my utilities were cut on and I was ready to begin unpacking. I can not wait for my friends to come out to visit. Of course, they will have to buy some western wear, including a great western hat! I will have a great time showing all my new home city!

We all know (or will soon know) the nightmare of navigating the financial aid process of college, no matter what your age. There are many ways to find help out there, from advisors at your chosen college, to FAFSA, the free application for student aid. Bravo drama

In the chaos of the move, I haven’t gotten around to checking out www.Direct.tv to get our cable set up. I really need to get on top of that, though, because I’m missing multiple weeks of my shows. Luckily, most websites post episodes of their shows online, so I can use my iPad to watch what I’ve missed. The unfortunate side to that is that one of my favorite channels, Bravo, does not post every episode of every show and the ones they do post are usually not in chronological order. Recently, I watched several older episodes of both the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and New Jersey. Since it usually doesn’t take a rocket scientist to get to the bottom of the drama in each episode, I have been able to keep up. Some of their other shows like The Millionaire Matchmaker are not actually one storyline, so you can watch an episode here and there and not have to really worry about keeping up. I guess I should be happy that I have no drama in my life, so I seek it elsewhere.
